Pelvic Floor Workshop

Pelvic Floor Workshop

The muscles of the pelvic floor are frequently overlooked. Imbalance in these muscles can contribute to not only pain, but also embarrassment and even disability in severe cases for both men and women. We are told incontinence and discomfort are an inevitable part of aging, but they doesn’t have to be!

This workshop is a series of four 1 1/2 hour classes that will investigate the importance of the pelvic floor on overall physical and mental health. You will learn the functions of the pelvic floor, how it is intimately linked into our nervous system and stress levels, and many exercises to help strengthen, balance, and restore proper function to not only the muscles of the pelvic floor, but of the pelvis, lower back, and even organ function. You will also learn how daily habits can contribute to pelvic floor problems. This workshop is open to men and women of all levels of experience. The classes are spaced to give time for practice and follow up to make sure you are making progress in your pelvic floor program!
